Performance and Off-Road Capability
The Jeep Cherokee has two engine options that power the SUV. The standard 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine kicks things off with 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque. If you prefer more torque, the available 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder engine with 295 lb-ft of torque might be for you.
The Cherokee can join you on all sorts of adventures. If you want to bring along a boat or a trailer, you can. The Cherokee has a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 pounds when properly equipped.
Available 4×4 drive systems help those who want to unleash their wild side navigate the great outdoors. If you opt for the Trailhawk trim, you’ll get additional off-road drive modes with the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, like Rock Mode.
The interior of the Cherokee is a great combination of comfort and practicality. There is plenty of room for all five passengers and enough cargo space that you can load up for a fun road or camping trip. In fact, with all seats occupied, you’ll have 25.8 cubic feet of cargo space!
Cloth seats are standard, but leather-trimmed seats are available for those who want a bit of luxury. If you’re headed up north for a winter trip or out on a chilly morning, the standard heated front seats help keep you warm. Ventilated front seats are available, too, so you can stay cool in the hot Texas weather.
Technology is part of the Cherokee to improve your ride.
One bit of technology that enhances your ride is the standard Uconnect® 4 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Through this system, you can stream music, access your favorite smartphone apps, and stay in contact on the go. You can even upgrade this system to include in-vehicle navigation.
To make your life even more convenient, the Cherokee also has available Jeep Skill for Amazon Alexa. Access important information about your Cherokee, like fuel levels, via smart devices. You can even start your SUV and send an address to the Cherokee’s navigation system!
