July Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and RAM Sales Results Are in
FCA US recently announced the company's July sales numbers, revealing that 161,477 vehicles were sold during the month while the company continues to pursue its strategy to reduce vehicle sales to the daily rental segment. Of particular note, three vehicles — the Chrysler Pacifica, RAM ProMaster City and Jeep Compass — delivered their best July sales performance in history.
Four Dodge vehicles recorded sales improvements in July. The Charger jumped 9 percent, the Durango model posted its best July sales performance since 2011 and both the Journey and the Viper vehicles also posted sales gains over July 2016 results.
The Chrysler Pacifica, which is the most-awarded minivan of 2016 and 2017, gain 5 percent increase to record the vehicle's best July results ever, while sales of the Chrysler 300 soared 31 percent in year-over-year sales comparisons.
Three Jeep® models improved sales over July 2016 numbers, with the Jeep Grand Cherokee handing in its best July sales numbers since 2005, the Jeep Compass posting its best July sales ever and the Jeep Wrangler — the most capable vehicle on the planet — also delivering an increase.
RAM retail truck sales gained 7 percent compared to July 2016, with the Ram ProMaster City van scoring its best July sales in the model's history.
The Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Challenger and Chrysler Pacifica models have all received awards recently, and the Chrysler and RAM brands have both risen the ranks in quality and appeal studies.
