Performance Specifications

The 2022 Ram 1500 offers five high-performance engines in its powertrain lineup, starting with the standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with eTorque, which produces an impressive 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, it offers plenty of V6 fuel economy for that perfect power and efficiency balance.

You can opt for the available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine for even more power. With or without eTorque technology, this engine produces a whopping 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. However, opting for the eTorque technology will also provide you with a towing capacity of 12,750 pounds when properly equipped.

If you’re looking for the most horsepower you can get out of your Ram 1500, the optional 6.2L Supercharged HEMI® V8 engine is your engine. This robust powertrain puts out 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

These engines work with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission to optimize each gearshift and maximize both power and efficiency.

Cabin Dimensions & Cargo Options

The 2022 Ram 1500 offers two different cab options: a Quad Cab and a Crew Cab. Both options provide you with seating for up to six passengers, but the most wiggle room you’ll get is in the Crew Cab:

The cabin of the Ram 1500 is also prepared with all kinds of cargo add-ons. You’ll get plenty of available interior storage, including in-floor storage, a reconfigurable front center console, and upper and lower glove compartments.

The exterior dimensions of this model largely depend on which cab and bed you choose. Being the bigger of the two, the Crew Cab will have slightly larger exterior measurements to accommodate extra space inside the cabin.

You’ll also have two bed options to choose from: a 67.4-inch and a 76.3-inch box. While both are prepared to cart cargo around, you’ll get the maximum cargo bed volume with the latter option.
