2022 Dodge Charger Preview

Power and style are two things that make muscle cars what they are. The Dodge Charger has always excelled at both of these features and continues to do so even with the 2022 model. With a few upgrades and a fun drive, the Dodge Charger is a great sedan for the streets of Dallas, Garland, and Arlington, Texas.

Dallas Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (DCJR) is thrilled to give interested drivers a first look at the 2022 Dodge Charger on this page.1 Take a look below to see how style and power work together to create a fantastic car and an even better driving experience.

Performance in Style

The Dodge Charger is no stranger to a powerful engine. With multiple impressive engines to choose from, you’ll get the power you need.

All engine options work with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The standard engine is a peppy 3.6L V6 that produces 292 horsepower. If you’re really looking for a big power jump, several V8 engines are available as well, including the available 5.7L V8 engine with 370 horsepower.

The top two engines are standard on the SRT Hellcat and the SRT Hellcat Redeye trims. The available 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine delivers 717 horsepower with the SRT Hellcat while the engine on the SRT Hellcat Redeye trim gets a whopping 797 horsepower.

Rear-wheel drive is standard across most trims, but you have the option to get available all-wheel drive.

Inside the Muscle Car

The inside of the Dodge Charger continues the power and style of the outside. Cloth seating is standard, but you can upgrade to cloth performance or available leather seats. The steering wheel gets a flare of style, too, with a sports leather and metal combination.

An infotainment system is standard with an available 8.4-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ let you use your favorite smartphone apps directly with this system, make phone calls, and get directions.

There’s plenty of space, too, with over 40 inches of rear legroom.

Head-Turning Exterior Style

The outside of the Dodge Charger is really what gets the attention. There is plenty of color options to choose from, including the eye-popping HEMI® Orange package. This package has an orange and black exterior and interior color accents on top of medium gloss black wheels.

The LED taillight arrangement is bright and easy to see and identify as a Charger. You can order stripes on any Charger trims from the GT level up.

On trims like the SRT Hellcat and the SRT Hellcat Redeye, you can opt for the SRT Black Package, which includes blacked-out exterior badges, black nickel exhaust tips, and more.

If you opt for the SRT Hellcat, the standard Widebody treatment includes 20-inch alloy wheels that are 11 inches wide. Flared fenders are paired with these wheels, giving it a tough look.
