Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Out to Change Minivan Segment Again

January 24th, 2017 by

Chrysler has been an automaker that has provided many firsts over the years. Come February, we're going to see another as Chrysler is set to add the first hybrid minivan ever to its lineup, when the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid debuts.

Already popular as a gas-powered model, the minivan which has changed the way people thing about the vehicle type will now get more efficient with features that include:

  • The Pacifica Hybrid will be able to drive 33 miles on an electric-only range, which would be quite useful for any short little trips in your daily drives
  • On the new Pacifica Hybrid, you're getting 84 miles per gallon equivalent using the plug-in technology, which is just shy of the MPGe on some all-electric sedans and 566-mile total driving range
  • You're still getting an ample 3.6-liter V6 engine with gas power to support your drive, too
  • You'll be able to find the same amenities that people love about the Pacifica, including a Uconnect® 8.4-inch touchscreen with Hybrid Electric Pages to monitor your drive, leather-trimmed seats, and power sliding doors and liftgate with seating for up to seven comfortably
